About
Who I am
I’m an award-winning author and certified instructional designer (I4PL) with a decade+ of college teaching experience and three years of instructional design experience. I combine my understanding of creative process and adult education principles to create beautiful, fun and highly effective eLearning.
My process
I’m iterative and feedback-focused when it comes to developing great eLearning. I use action-mapping to correctly define problems and focus on training to specific behaviours that create better outcomes. I am skilled at scenario-based eLearning—but I have developed a wide variety of learning materials.
How I work with people
I love adjusting and matching training solutions to the incredible instincts and expertise that other people possess. That said, I know where my lane lies, and I can help people to quickly see the value of touchstone instructional design principles and how my skillset works to help them identify real solutions. Then, I love to surprise people with awesome stories, visuals and functionality.
Me with my son Rhys, who needs a lot of instruction.
